Kazemi helped lead the Owls to back-to-back conference road wins for the first time since 2005, averaging 16.5 points and 13 rebounds in wins at SMU and Tulane. He shot 67 percent from the field (12-of-18) and converted 9-of-12 free throws.
He had two double-doubles to increase his Division I-leading total to 14 this season. With 41 career double-doubles, Kazemi needs two more to set the C-USA career record.
Ibrahim made his first career starts against SMU and Tulane, averaging eight points, four rebounds and three assists. He had 14 points and a career-high four assists in 35 minutes against SMU. He also made the in-bounds pass that led to Connor Frizzelle’s buzzer beater against Tulane.
